Carrot Tzatziki sauce – A delicious Greek Tzatziki alternative!
Try this velvety Carrot Tzatziki, an alternative to the Greek Tzatziki sauce which is even more delicious and nutritious! You can serve Carrot Tzatziki with meat or vegetables, it goes with almost anything!




Carrot Tzatziki sauce – A delicious Greek Tzatziki alternative!
Prep: 5m | Total: 5m | Serves: 4-6
Ingredients:
- 500g Greek Yogurt, strained
- 3 cloves of Garlic, minced
- 4 Tbsp red wine Vinegar
- 1 Carrot, grated
- 10 Tbsp Olive Oil, Extra virgin
- A pinch of Salt
Instructions:
- Grate the carrot and add it to a bowl with the Yogurt.
- Mince the garlic and add it to a jar with the olive oil, vinegar, and salt.
- Shake it well and add it to the bowl with the Yogurt.
- Mix all the ingredients well and the Carrot Tzatziki sauce is ready!
Notes:
- Instead of a jar, you can add the olive oil, vinegar, garlic, and salt to a food processor to blend them.
- Tzatziki is often misspelled to tsatsiki, tzaziki, tzatiki, taziki, tzatsiki, tsatziki. In Greek, it is actually pronounced: “cha-jee-key“.
